Ching Ming

Every year, on this day (Ching Ming) we will get along together and went to my dad's grave to pay a isit to him. He had left us since I was Form two. I still can remember how he get sick, how he suffer from sickness. Is really hard to get through the tough time. We like a lost after he gone. My family having this problem, that problem seem as the whole world going up and down especially financial problem.

My grandma told us that all of us have to be here because the more people came the luckier of our family. She told us that Ching Ming is like the New Year for those dead people. Therefore, we need to bring all the food that the dead person likes to eat to celebrate with him together. We also bought the paper money, car, shirts to him. After all the praying, then we started to burn all the things to him.

My grandma strightly warn us to remember this day and have to pass this culture to our children. It is like the act of paying respect to our ancestor. From her face, I can feel that she very sad about my uncles and aunty that seldom come back. Is hard, she understand they need to work for their living but in the other way she wants them back to visit her on some special occasion. But what to do.....Haiz.......
However, we manage to get through it.
